MarrakechFull-Day Guided Tour

Embark on a captivating full-day adventure, commencing at 9 AM with your pick-up from your centrally located Hotel/Riad in Marrakech. Travel in comfort in an air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by your personal guide who will be your companion throughout the entire tour. One of the highlights awaits you at the breathtaking Majorelle Gardens, a verdant oasis covering two and a half acres. Originally designed in 1923 by French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle, the gardens were later restored in the 1980s by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Marvel at the striking blue and yellow cubist villa, a masterpiece designed by Paul Senior.

Explore further as you:

  • Visit the Koutoubia minaret, the tallest in Marrakech, standing at 253 feet. No building within the city walls is allowed to surpass its height. The minaret is an integral part of Marrakech’s largest mosque, completed in 1199.
  • Stop at a Berber Apothecary shop, gaining insights into the medicinal uses of common spices and herbs prevalent across Morocco. The informative experience goes beyond the picturesque displays found in markets.
  • Tour the Bahia Palace, an opulent late 19th-century creation for the grand vizier and named after his favorite wife. Wander through rooms set within a 2-acre garden, including those that housed his harem, a position with political significance.
  • Explore Jemaa el Fna, the central square in the medina and a UNESCO world heritage site. Once a site for public executions when established in 1050, it now buzzes with street performers, snake charmers, merchants, and vibrant orange juice stalls.

Take a midday break around 1 PM for a delightful lunch, ensuring you are energized for the continued exploration of Marrakech’s wonders.
